Tree Planting on Earth Day
Governor John H. Lynch, New Hampshire Arborists Association Plant Tree at The Bridges House
in Concord on Earth Day 2008 . . . . photos!
Gov.
John Lynch together with members of the New Hampshire Arborists Association celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2008, by planting
a tree with Concord area children at the Bridges House, the Governor's official residence. Gov. Lynch was
joined by children from the Concord Boys & Girls Club and the Eastside Learning Center. The native tree, a
red oak, was a gift to the State of New Hampshire donated by the New Hampshire Arborists Association.

The third annual New Hampshire Tree Climbing Competition
was held at Dartmouth Colledge on Sunday September 28, 2008. The rain held off and 12 individuals competed. Look for
