UNH Cooperative Extension County Foresters help landowners achieve their goals and identify potential stewardship opportunities through site visits, workshops, educational materials, woods forums, and field days. We visit your property, free of charge and help you achieve your woodlot objectives including forestry, recreation, wildlife habitat, water resources, scenic beauty and income. We also help communities manage town-owned lands, plan land conservation projects, identify natural resources, and offer public educational workshops. We also offer professional development for foresters, loggers, wetland scientists, forest industry professionals, wildlife consultants and others.
Not all County Foresters are also Certified Arborists and we are not typically available to provide assistance with individual trees, but we may be able to answer general questions or point you in the right direction of other resources.
